Rowena Florence Grover, 92
KENNEBUNKPORT -- Rowena Florence Grover, 92 years, of Kennebunkport, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Biddeford Estates following a period of declining health.
Rowena was born Jan. 21, 1921 in Yarmouth, a daughter of Robert and Flora Mitchell, Sr. She graduated from Kennebunk High School and worked at several local businesses including: Reily's Bakery, WT Grants, and Nunan's Lobster Hut. She was also a wonderful homemaker. On May 3, 1942 she married James Grover.
Rowena enjoyed knitting, reading, and her membership with Eastern Star.
She was predeceased by her husband, James and her daughter Diana Worthley.
Rowena is survived by her daughters, Pamela Hutchins and her husband, Victor, of Cape Porpoise and Betsy Buzulchuck and her husband, Mike, of Kennebunk, her son-in-law, Kelvin Worthly of Cape Porpoise; six grandchildren; and eleven greatgrandchildren.
Following Rowena's wishes, services will be private. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk.
