ROBERT P. WILKER

Robert P. Wilker, age 59, of 214 Church St., Mishicot, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, June 11, 1998, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.

Bob was born October 9, 1938, in Two Rivers, son of the late John and Alice (née Boettcher) Wilker. He attended St. John Evangelical Lutheran Parochial School, and graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers.

He married Lou Ann Saubert on December 16, 1961. She preceded him in death in August 1984. On June 1, 1990, Bob married Bonnie Dworak.

Bob was employed by Paragon Electric in Two Rivers for 40 years. He served with the United States Army from 1961 until 1963, including a tour of duty in Germany. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was serving on the Finance Committee. He was also a past member of the church council. Bob enjoyed camping and playing horseshoes.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; two sons, Jeff, Whitelaw, and his friend Carol Krueger, and Kurt, Mishicot, and his fiance, Stacey Jirikowic; two step-daughters, Kim (Tim) Carlson, Green Bay, and Jill (Gregg) Schetter, Whitelaw; one brother, Ronald (Barb) Wilker, Two Rivers; one sister, Bonnie (Mike) Monka, Two Rivers; five grandchildren, Tarin, Courtney, and Garrett Carlson, and Sydney and Ryley Schetter; father-in-law Fred Saubert; father- and mother-in-law, Clayton and Jannet Dworak; brothers- and sisters-in-law; Ron (Sue) Dworak, Ric Dworak, Curt (Debbie) Dworak, Roxie Retzlaff, Carol (Jim) Grimm, Janice (Larry) Levendosky, Shirley (Bob) Blattler.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Marlene; and one brother-in-law, Keith Retzlaff.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Diabetes Association. Funeral Services were held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot, with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Military Graveside Rites will be accorded by Mishicot V.F.W. Post #7753.
