FLORENCE - Mrs. Mattie C. McLellan, 73, died Thursday in a local hospital. Wife of Samuel C. McLellan Sr., she was born in [present day] Dillon County, a daughter of the late Neil C. and Millie Huggins Campbell.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in First Southern Methodist Church with burial in Florence Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. C. F. Youmans and Mrs. R. J. Stark of Florence and Mrs. W. G. Coleman of Florence; and six sons, R. Legrand McLellan, M. Hubert McLellan and James C. McLellan of Florence, Samuel C. McLellan, Jr. of Darlington, Franklin D. McLellan of Charleston and Bobby G. McLellan of Erka, NC.
