Patsy Ruth Abron, 64, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Crane Memorial Hospital.

Wake services will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Crane. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Patsy was born on March 2, 1948 in Ore City, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Crane; and she was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse. Patsy was a member of the Rose of Sharon Baptist Church in Odessa.

Survivors include her sons, Juan Abron-Spivey and his wife Lori of Midland, Eric Thomas of Odessa, and Reverend Derick Thomas and his wife Renada of Shreveport, LA; her parents, Bucilla and Hampton Bowens of Crane; a brother, Jimmy Ray Abron of Houston; four sisters, Diana Abron of Odessa, Dorothy Abron Brown of Crane, Joyce Marie Abron Williams of Kermit, and Carol Elizabeth Davis of Mesquite; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild
