Charlotte V. Gross, 90, entered into rest Monday morning, March 25, 2013 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Wilbur E. Gross. Born November 1, 1922, in Manchester Township, Charlotte was a daughter of the late Edward and Jennie (Hilt) Minnich. She attended Church of the Open Door and previously attended Fourth EUB. Charlotte was a homemaker who loved gardening. She is survived by two children, Larry E. Gross and wife, Sharon of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Sherry L. Marshall and husband, John of Dover; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Hartman and Evelyn Desenburg and three brothers, Bobby, Bill and Jim Minnich. Services will be private. Burial will be in Quickel's Cemetery, York. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
