FRANK J. FARRELL, BELL WORKER, DIES

FRANK J. FARRELL, for more than a quarter-century a construction worker for the Michigan Bell Telephone Company died Friday in St. Mary's Hospital. He was 72. Mr. Farrell, who lived at 121 Carrier St., NE., had retired in 1938. He was born in Marne, but had been a Grand Rapids resident for 34 years.

Mr. Farrell was a member of the Altar and Holy Name Societies of St. Alphonsus' Parish.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Alphonsus' Church, with burial in Marne Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by the wife, LILA; a son, HENRY G. of Grand Rapids; two sisters, MISS ANNA FARRELL of Coopersville and MRS. GEORGE WEST of Grand Rapids; two brothers, JOSEPH of Marne, and GEORGE of Grand Rapids, and six grandchildren.

FARRELL - FRANK J. FARRELL, aged 72, of 141 Carrier St., NE., passed away Friday morning at St. Mary's hospital after a lingering illness. He is survived by his widow, MRS. LILA FARRELL; one son, HENRY G.; six grandchildren; two brothers, JOSEPH of Marne and GEORGE of Grand Rapids, and two sisters, MRS. GEORGE WEST of Grand Rapids and MISS ANNA FARRELL of Coopersville. Mr. Farrell was a member of the Holy Name society and the Altar society of St. Alphonsus church, where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Mr. Farrell reposes at the family home, where members of the society and friends will recite the Rosary Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Arrangements by Alt.
