Selma Louise Baldwin Morris, 82 of Waynesville passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Haywood County on September 14, 1926 to the late Nathan Henry and Jessie Louise Greene Baldwin. She was a longtime member of East Waynesville Baptist Church. She retired from Wellco after many years of faithful services. She enjoyed teaching the children in her church. She was a very giving person and would anything she had to anyone who needed it.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hughes Morris and two brothers, Clayton and Doyle Baldwin.
She is survived by two brothers, Clyde Baldwin of Colorado Springs, CO and Fred Baldwin and his wife, Jean of Waynesville and a sister, Mary Cumi Baldwin Weaver and her husband, Jake of Enid, OK.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday at East Waynesville Baptist Church with the Reverend Josh Walls officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
