Mabel Leona Belles, a Beaverton resident, died of congestive heart failure Sunday in a Portland care center. A private service will be held Tuesday. She was 94.
She was born Nov. 25, 1897, in Indianapolis and moved to the Portland area in 1922. Mrs. Belles was a homemaker. Her husband, Allie Belles, died in 1962.
Survivors include a son, David of Beaverton; daughter, Betty McComb of Chelan, Wash.; sister, Dorothy McGuire of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A son, Donald Belles, died in 1979.
Private interment will be in River View Cemetery.
