Virginia Ann Riggleman Stalnaker, 89, a resident of Montgomery, Texas, died December 4, 2012, in Conroe Regional Hospital in Conroe, Texas. She was born December 14, 1922, in Monterville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Calvin Cecil Riggleman and the late Lettie Effie Hogan Riggleman. On March 28, 1946, in Elkins, she married Virgil Lambert Stalnaker who preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by one son, James Andrew (Patty) Stalnaker of Fairport, New York; one daughter, Barbara Ann Stalnaker Lundeen of Montgomery, Texas; one brother, Newton F. Riggleman of Beverly, West Virginia; one brother–in-law Charles Lewis of Beverly, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, George E. Riggleman; one sister, Janet Lewis; and her son-in-law, John Lundeen.

Mrs. Stalnaker attended the schools of Randolph County, West Virginia and worked for many years for Snyder Manufacturing Company prior to her retirement. She was Protestant by faith.

The family would like to thank Kathy Hayden and Norma Ramsey of Meadow Brook Personal Care Home for making her part of their family.

Services were held at the Tombyn Funeral Home in Elkins, West Virginia by the Reverend Leon Brown. Interment is at American Legion's Little Arlington Cemetery near Elkins.
