Carlace Reston Rhoney, 56, of 126 West Celestial Drive, died July 2, 2003, in Rome, Ga.

A native of LaGrange, Ga., a son of Audrey Dunaway Rhoney and the late Scott F. Rhoney, he was the owner of Fleets Services, a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and a member of Heritage Bible Church. Mr. Rhoney was also a member of the Bailey Lodge #146, The 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and the Hejaz Shrine.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Carol Slack Rhoney, of the home; a son, Craig Reston Rhoney, of the home; four brothers, Frank Rhoney, of Piedmont, John Rhoney and Wade Rhoney, both of Greer, and Don Rhoney, of Greensboro, N.C.; and a sister, Frances R. Mize, of Eatonton, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Heritage Bible Church, conducted by the Rev. Dan Brooks. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Frank Rhoney, John Rhoney, Wade Rhoney, Don Rhoney, Duane Slack and Bob Slack.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Bible Church Deacons Benevolence Fund, 2005 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, S.C. 29650.-The Wood Mortuary Inc.
