She was born October 7, 1893, at St Thomas, the daughter of Frank and Anna Koehler Otke.
Miss Otke had attended Meta schools, University of Chicago, New York University and Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau. A member of the Catholic Church, Miss Otke had taught schools in Meta and had worked in Chicago and New York. She worked on the Manhattan Project. She also taught in San Diego, California.
Lucy was predeceased by her sisters Ida Otke, Clara Otke Crider and Rose Otke Rowan.
Survivors include a nephew, Dr W Barry Rowan of Jefferson City, Missouri.
Services are schedules for 1pm Wednesday at St Cecilia Catholic Church, Meta, with the Rev. Richard Cronin officiating. Burial will be at the parish cemetery in Meta.
