Jesse Earl Adamson, 80

Jesse Earl Adamson, 80, of McMinnville (Gath community) died Sunday, Aug. 17 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Ky.

Born on April 11, 1928 in Warren County he was retired from Genesco with over 40 years of service, a retired employee of the Warren County School System, a member of Gath Batist church were he served as deacon and a Sunday School teacher, and volunteer with the nursning home ministry at Raintree Manor for 12 years. Mr. Adamson was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Walling and Annie Laura (Warren) Adamson.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, son, grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.

The funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. today in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Ray Gilder, Jimmy Blankenship and Frank Stacy will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory. The Adamson family will receive friends today from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home Memorial donations may be made to Gath Baptist Church.
