He was a Trouble Shooter for RCA, retiring in 1981, and previously worked for the Indianapolis Public Schools, retiring in 1988. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the House of Prayer and the IBEW Local.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Stephen, Gregory and Aaron Resnover, 1st wife, Theodosia Lynem Resnover and his parents, James Henry Resnover, Sr. and Della Irene Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Mariah Resnover; sons, Dwight Resnover, Sr., Daniel Resnover, Earl Resnover, Nathaniel Rabb, Christopher Resnover, Charles Resnover; daughters, Patricia Resnover, Beverly Weatherly (Jonathan), Phyllis Resnover-Harris, Paula Terry, Pamela Harvey; brothers, Karl J. Resnover (Marcella), Mercer Resnover; sister, June Curry; 47 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006, 11 a.m. at Christ Temple Apostolic Church. Friends may call on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
