Mrs. Willie Lyon Bridgman, 84, of 509 West Gordon
St. died Thursday afternoon, April 4, 1985, at
Riverside Medical Care Home.
Funeral Services were conducted Sunday afternoon,
April 7, in the chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral
Home with Elder Pat Denton, Elder Charlie D.
McClendon and Elder Cecil Darity officiating.
Pasley-Fletcher Home was in charge of arrangements.
Burial followed in Southview Cemetery.
A native of Upson County, Mrs. Bridgman was a former
school teacher and a member of Emmaus Primitive
Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Earl N.
Bridgman, Sr., of Thomaston, four sons, Lt. Col.
(retired) Earl N. Bridgman, Jr., of Memphis, TN, Mr.
Emory L. Bridgman of Macon, William G, ( Bill)
Bridgman of Rockingham, N.C., and Chaplain Lt. Col.
Huey Allen Bridgman of Mainz, Germany, one sister,
Mrs. Nannie adams of Concord. Several grandchildren
and two great grandchildren also survive.
