CHARLES GUSTAVE BREDEN, 85 years old, of 383 11th St., South Brooklyn, died yesterday of old age at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. R. W. Furman, in Nyack, NY. The funeral services will be held there tomorrow morning, and the interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Breden was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on October 24, 1832, and came to Brooklyn just before the outbreak of the Civil War, residing here ever since, and being for many years engaged in the tailoring business. He is survived by a son, Edward Breden, connected with the U.S. Customs Intelligence Bureau in Manhattan; his daughter, Mrs. Furman [Ellen Charlotte Breden], and a grandson, Gerald B. Furman.
