He was born in Hostalkova Czechoslovakia and lived in the
Zabcikville area most of his life.
He is survived by his widow Mary Janacek Macek Ellis of Temple.
Gommert Funeral Home of Rogers, Texas is in charge.
In 1939 Mr Ellis received painful and severe burns on his hands, arms, and face while at work in his garage soldering a small gasoline tank...even though beforehand he had washed and rinsed the tank thoroughly. Fortunately his eyes were not harmed. He was not able to work for a while, but he had a very good assistant auto mechanic on whom he relied.
