Roger Blaine Scott, age 65, of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, March 22, 2013, near Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Roger was born November 30, 1947, in Clarksville to Allen and Modena Good Scott. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1967 and then married Jimmie Roberts in 1967. Roger was a former Texas Highway Patrolman. He retired from Kimberly Clark in Paris and then owned Creative Carving's in Clarksville. He was an avid woodcarver and was known to all that new him as a big "cutup". He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Josh Scott, Gary Gray, Doug Hines, Marty Daniel, James Vaughan and G.A. Hines.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Scott of Clarksville; 2 sons, Jason Scott and wife Melissa and Josh Scott all of Tyler; 3 grandchildren, Bailey, Ashleigh and Zachary; 1 sister, Carolyn Peek of Reno; and 1 brother, Bruce Scott of Avery.
