Joseph O. Singer, age 80, of 376 Pansy St., Davenport, Fla., died on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 23, 1926, in Weyerhauser, son of the late Joseph and Olive (Mizener) Singer Sr.. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1950 to 1952.
On Dec. 29, 1950, he married the former Elaine Grabowsky in Antigo.
Joseph was employed by the Shipbuilders and then retired from Holy Family Hospital as a maintenance person.
He enjoyed throwing horseshoes, camping with his family and he also loved to watch football, especially the Green Bay Packers.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law; three brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Brian Staude. Military rites will be accorded by the VFW Otto Oas Post 659. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
