Brian Rob Headberg passed away on the morning of March 12, 2013, at the age of 46. He was in the care of Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Born in Miami, Fla., on Feb. 26, 1967, Brian moved to Orlando in the early "80s. Despite being born with Down Syndrome, Brian was active in many activities including Special Olympics, basketball, swimming, flying, golf, bowling and dancing. He brought smiles to all around him. As a graduate of Lake Mary High School's special education program, he worked at the Wekiva Golf Club and later at American Metal Products Inc.
Brian is survived by his parents, Jeanell Prichett and Dennis Headberg and wife Barbara Headberg; brother Rob and wife Denise Headberg; nephews Dustin and Parker Headberg; aunt and uncle Brent and Debbie Headberg; cousins Scott and Stephanie.
Services are planned for March 23, 2013, at the Highland Manor in Apopka, Fla., between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Fla., would be appreciated.
