Margaret 'Peg' Hemmelgarn, 77, 2270 U.S. 127, St. Henry, died at 3:50 a.m. Nov. 30 at Dayton Heart Hospital. She was born May 16, 1924, in Wendelin, to Thomas and Dora (Rammel) Hart. On June 30, 1945, she married Andy Hemmelgarn who survives. Other survivors are two sons and their wives, Thomas and Carol of Cassella, and Vic and Deb of St. Henry; three daughters and their husbands, Carol and Ron Muhlenkamp and Dee and Dan Fullenkamp, all of Coldwater, and Lora and Stan Wilson, Kettering; four brothers and their wives, Linus and Emma Hart, George and Anna Marie Hart, and Leo and Dorothy Hart, all of Fort Recovery, and Al and Donna Hart of Celina; a sister and her husband, Ann and Joe Berning, Minster; a sister-in-law, Jean Hart, St. Henry; a brother-in-law and his wife, Leroy and Mildred Hemmelgarn of Celina; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Teresa and Albert Steinbrunner, Fort Recovery, and Wilma and Cy Everman, Maria Stein, and two sisters-in-law, Bertha Dippold, Cassella, and Clara Grube, Fort Recovery; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Ivan; a daughter, Mary; a brother, John; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Clarence Quinter; and a sister-in-law, Leona Hartings. She was a homemaker and former co-owner of The Fountain Inn, St. Henry. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and its Ladies Sodality of the parish and Bereavement Ministry. She was a member of the Catholic Knights of America, Cassella. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at the church, the Rev. Fred Ryder officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry. Contributions can be made to the St. Henry Rescue Squad.
