Lena M. Prieskorn of McMinnville, formerly of Eugene, died Dec. 26 of age-related causes. She was 96.
Prieskorn was born May 22, 1905, in Blue Rapids, Kan.
She taught ceramics for 10 years at Pasadena Community College. She moved to Eugene in 1970. She enjoyed roses, violets, ceramics, coffee and making jewelry.
Survivors include two nephews.
Her husband, Walter, died previously. Her son, Kenneth, died in 1982 (*Kenneth actually died in 1986*).
No services are planned. Burial will be at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, Calif. Macy & Sons Funeral Directors, McMinnville, is in charge of arrangements.
