JEREMY ALLEN ACRE
ACRE, Jeremy Allen, 35, a resident of Holtville, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial with Reverends Bruce Hose, Scott Schumpert, and Chaplain Walter Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Acre was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother. He was a dedicated firefighter with the City of Montgomery, and he was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife, Lindsay Acre; parents, Allen and Sherry Acre; two daughters, Molly Elizabeth and Sarah Katherine Acre; one sister, Amy (Michael) Aiken; one brother, Joey (Nicole) Acre; paternal grandmother, Mary Acre; maternal grandmother, Mildred Madison; numerous extended family members and many friends. Pallbearers will be Matt Sherrer, Phillip Hethcox, Bart Burgess, Woody Bozeman, Ashley Payton, and Bart Estes. Honorary pallbearers include his fellow firefighters, Sgt. P.B. McNeely, Firefighter C.B. Johnson, Capt. D.M. Adams, Sgt. R.C. Sides, Firefighter J.E. Strickland, Firefighter J.B. Cramer, Lt. W.L. Bozeman, F/M V.L. Dumas. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
