Marvin P. Holloway, age 81, of 408 East 12th died Saturday, February 21, 1987 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was a former resident of Dewitt and Hot Springs, a retired farmer and former owner of Holloway's Coin Shop at Hot Springs. He was a member of the American Numismatic Society and the First Christian Church of Dewitt. He was the son of the late John and Rosa Brown Holloway of Sparkman (Dallas County).

Survivors include his wife, Lenora Dickinson Holloway; two sons, Gene Holloway of Gillett and Max Holloway of Muskogee, Okla.; two daughters, Evelyn Manatt of Dardanelle and Dianne Schoenfelder of Jacksonville; a brother, Paul D. Holloway of near Hot Springs; four sisters, Nannie Green and Audra Ray of Sparkman, Lois Bettis of El Dorado and Lucy Nell Gann of Carmichael, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p. m. today at Essex Funeral Chapel at Dewitt by Dr. Leroy Dickinson. Burial will be in Dewitt Cemetery by Essex Funeral Service. Local arrangements were by Cornwell Funeral Service of Dardanelle. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Dewitt or the American Cancer Society.
