Jean Petersen, beloved mother and grandmother returned to her heavenly home on March 21, 2013. She was born June 21, 1925 in Millcreek, Utah, to John Milton and Enid Greaves Park, and grew up in Davis County.

She married Charles Kenneth Martinson, later divorced, deceased. Married James Herbert (Hub) Petersen, deceased.

Survived by sister Ann (Don) Cottrell, stepmother Shirley Park (Roy) Hatch, and her children: Scott Allen Martinson (James Duran), John Park (Dianne) Martinson, Lynne Martinson Petersen, Ron (Sally) Petersen, Reed (Carol) Petersen, Jim (Terri Olsen) Petersen, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Hub and Jean owned Hub's Market in Murray, Utah, and later operated the Carpenter Hall Boarding House near the University of Utah. Mom retired from Utah State Division of Motor Vehicles as manager of the South Salt Lake office. Mom enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling to southern Utah, and singing with the LDS University Ward Choir.

Services will be held Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:00 am at the LDS University Ward, 160 University Street, Salt Lake City, UT. Interment at Provo City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Hospice and the staff at the Avenues Assisted Living Center. Mom -- we love and miss you!
