OBITUARY: DRESDEN ENTERPRISE, Dresden, Tennessee, February 1, 1957 & February 8, 1957
Services for William Goley Doster, retired farmer, livestock breeder and mechanic were held Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist Church. The Rev. Cayce Pentecost and Hubert Dill, Church of Christ minister, will officiate. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery, with Maddox Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Doster died Sunday night as a result of a Stroke. He was 69. He was born near Dresden, the son of the late Ellison Doster and Millie Hamlin Doster. After living in Detroit and Lansing, Mich., for two years, where he was engaged in mechanical work, he moved to Gleason 12 years ago. He was a member of Dresden Woodmen of the World Lodge, and was a Baptist.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Laura Mosely Doster; three sons, Finis Doster of Mayfield, Ky., and Douglas Doster and Homer Doster of Gleason; three daughters, Mrs Beaulah Smith of Northfield, Mich., Mrs. Eva Denning of Gleason, and Mrs. Ruby Ellis of Puryear; two brothers, John Doster of Portersville, Mo., and Wade Doster of Gleason; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Everett of McKenzie
