Funeral services were held Tuesday for George A. Brown Jr., 31, of Waverly, who apparently took his own life Saturday.
He was born April 29, 1942 a son of George A. Sr. and Louise Miller Brown.
He is survived by his parents; one son, Glenn, two brothers, Larry of Waverly and Frank of Jacksonville.
His wife, Donna Hart Brown preceded him in death in 1970.
Services were conducted by Rev. Wolford C. Price of the Waverly United Methodist Church of which Mr. Brown was a member.
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Waverly Masonic Lodge No. 118.
Burial was in Waverly East cemetery.
