Frank Otto Brown, 77 year old resident of this community, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 11th at Modern Care Nursing Home in Jacksonville where he had been a patient for over a year. Mr. Brown had been in steadily failing health for the past several years.
He was born at Waverly April 21, 1886, son of Herman and Mary Glassner Brown. He was married December 10, 1908 to Pearl Elizabeth Mitchell, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Roy and Herman Brown both of Waverly and Mrs. Frank Duewer, who survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
He was a member of the Waverly Masonic Lodge, O. E. S., Knights of Pythias and Consistory.
Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Neece Funeral Home.
Burial was in Waverly East cemetery.
