Former Waverly Resident Dies
Mrs. A. L. Bangham of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly Miss Lulu Sturgis of this city, died of cancer Sunday morning in Indianapolis. Deceased was born here where she grew to womanhood. Her name was Seymour but she was orphaned when about a year old and was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. John Sturgis. Mr. Sturgis being her uncle. Her father was a cousin of the late Mrs. Annie Cline of this city.
Mrs. Bangham has been married twice, her first husband being Edgar Davies. She was married to Mr. Bangham about fifteen years ago.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Indianapolis, the body being placed in a vault in that city to remain until spring when it will be brought here for burial in Waverly cemetery.

Former Resident to Be Buried Here
The remains of Mrs. A. L. Bangham who died in Indianapolis, Ind., December 15, 1929, will be brought here for interment in Waverly cemetery tomorrow. At the time of her death the remains were placed in a vault in Indianapolis to await better weather for making the journey to this city by motor.
It is expected that the funeral party will reach Waverly between 1 and 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, and a short service will be held at the grave in charge of Rev. W. T. Mathis.
Mrs. Bangham was formerly Miss Lulu Sturgis of this city.

Burial services were held at Waverly cemetery last Saturday afternoon for Mrs. A. L. Banghm, formerly Miss Lulu Sturgis of this city, who died December 15, 1929, at Indianapolis, Ind., where she had lived for a number of years. Rev. W. T. Mathis officiated in a short service at the grave.
Mr. Bangham, the husband of the deceased, together with several relatives and friends, accompanied the remains from Indianapolis to this city.
