John Harless Cafego, age 62 of Kimberly, West Virginia, entered into rest on Monday, July 1, 2004, in Montgomery General Hospital.

Born September 21, 1941 in McDunn, Fayette County, West Virginia, he was the son of Esther Elizabeth Reed Cafego and the late Frank Cafego. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Arley Ray and John Cafego; and a sister, Anne Lalli.

He was a United States Army veteran.

His survivors include his children, Frank Dana Cafego of Page, Mark of Kimberly, John of High Point, North Carolina, and Scott of Oak Hill; his mother, Esther Cafego of Oak Hill; sisters, Wanda Meador of Oak Hill and Shirley Kirk of St. Albans; brother, Frank also of Oak Hill, West Virginia; and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 3,2004, at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery with Rev. Jerry Bush and Rev. John Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Highlawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
