THOMASVILLE - James William (Bill) Hall, 74, died Sunday at Community General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 4, 1914, a son of William Etheldred and Jennie Lorraine Harris Hall. He was a member of Bethel Avenue Baptist Church in High Point and retired in 1976 from Thomasville Furniture Industries, Plant G.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carlettie Hill Hall of the home; one daughter, Mrs Faye Martin of Franklinville; two sons, William Velton Hall of Archdale, and Dwight Hall of Asheboro; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Betts of High Point and Margaret Hall of Thomasville; one brother, Fred R. Hall of Thomasville; 13 grandchildren; five foster grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p,m, Tuesday at J.C. Green and Sons Chapel by the Rev. Howard Carter and the Rev. Claude Garrett. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and at other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby, Darrell, Dwayne, Furman, Jerry and Larry Hall.
