My second great grandmother Emma was born in Omega, Marion County Illinois August 21, 1885 to John Blake Sims & Catherine Effie "Katherine-Katie" Worthington Sims.
Emma had many siblings born to this union, James William Sims, Effie Enola Sims House, Frank Raymond Sims, and Mary Estella Sims Kellems Bonnet
Emma married my second great grandfather Benjamin Austin Baldwin April 16, 1900 in Marion County, Illinois.
To this union was born one son my great grandfather John Henry "Johnie" Baldwin January 21, 1901 in Luka, Marion County, Illinois.

April 7, 1910 Emma and Benjamin Baldwin divorced in San Bernardino County, California.

April 16, 1910 Emma is living in Ward 3 on 550 Third Street in San Bernardino, California. She list herself as being divorced and a servant of this household with one child born.

After the divorce she some time moved in the same area as her parents in Sullivan County, Indiana.
Emma found new love with her second husband William Edward Melone August 21, 1913 the day of her 28th birthday in Sullivan County, Indiana. This romance was short lived after only being married for 10 months & 6 days the death of her second beloved William Melone comes.

April 10, 1917 Love finds Emma again, marrying Dr. Oliver Osco Plummer in Indiana.

1930 census they are living in Haddon, Sullivan County, Indian.

1940 census they were renting a home in Jefferson, Sullivan County, Indiana.

old, died at 6 o'clock Monday after-
noon at the Rest Haven Home at Lin-
ton. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs.
Effie House of Terre Haute, and Mrs.
Mary Bonnett of Midland. The body
was taken to the Newkirk Funeral
Home where friends may call after 2
o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Funeral
services will be at 1 o'clock Wednes-
day afternoon at the funeral home.
Brother Maurice Clymore will officiate
and burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
