Malone Farmer Wednesday, August 13, 1919

WALKER - At the home of her sister, Mrs. Warren Walker, in Malone, Aug 11, after an illness of about two months, Mrs. Eveline Brown Walker, wife of George Walker, of Owls Head, aged 62 years.
Mrs. Walker was an industrious, generous, sympathetic woman of fine character, who had been a loyal member of the Methodist church for many years. She was a kind, neighbor and a devoted wife and mother. She was born in Bellmont, a daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Alonzo Brown and moved to the Province of Quebec with her parents at the age of 8 years. She married Mr. Walker at Richmond P.Q. in 1875 and resided for about ten years after her marriage at South Durham, P.Q. About 1885 Mr. and Mrs. Walker came to the States and settled in Skerry, where Mr. Walker conducted the Walker mill. They later came to Malone and had since resided here and at Owls Head. Mrs. Walker came to her sister's here in Malone about three weeks ago to receive medical treatment and was never able to return to her home in Owls Head. She is survived by her husband and son son, Ernest, of Owls Head and seven grandchildren. The funeral takes place from the residence of Warren Walker, this (Wednesday) afternoon, Rev. Dr. Marsh officiating; interment at Morningside.
