HENRY E. WULBERN BURIED WEDNESDAY


Mr. Henry Emil Wulbern passed away Sunday, November 30th at the age of 82. He was born March 2, 1887 to Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Wulbern at Kennard. On February 23, 1921 he was married to Maria Paulsen and they are the parents of a daughter, Margaret, Mrs. George Franke of Nickerson.


He served in the Infantry in World War I. From 1925 until 1952 he farmed southwest of Blair. Upon retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Wulburn resided at 2202 Nebraska St.


Survivors besides his wife and daughter, are two grandchildren, Mrs. James F. Taylor of Blair and George Henry Franke of Kearney. Also a brother, Wm. Wulbern of Blair, two sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Kuhl of Blair and Mrs. Fritz Arp of Fremont. A brother, Louie, preceded him in death.


Funeral services were at 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 3rd at the United Methodist Church in Blair. The Rev. Richard Atherton officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with the Bendorf Funeral Home in charge. Military Services were held at the grave side.


Pallbearers were: Albert and Harry Arp, Wm. Wulbern, Jr., Walter and Harry Jahnel and John Wolsmann, all nephews of Mr. Wulbern.


Honorary Pallbearers were: Mac Irvin, Carl Andersen, Robert and Ray Jahnel, Wm. Lammers, Glen Nelson, Harold Behrens, and Vernon Kaffenberger.
