Catherine (Kittie) Finn was born in Detroit, Michigan during 1862. Her father was Richard Finn (1828-1883) and her mother Ellen Finn (1840-1907), both Irish immigrants. There were three Finn girls, Mary Josephine (1860-1941) and Ellen (Nellie) (1873-1934). Kittie never married. She cared for her mother Ellen until her death during 1907 and then lived out her years with her sister Mary Josephine.
