Funeral services for Mr. J.L. Rockwell, 86, of Cookeville will be held Friday, March 22 at 3 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Miles officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Brotherton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday 1 pm until time of services at the funeral home.
Mr. Rockwell passed away Thursday morning, March 21, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Masters in Algood.
He was born December 11, 1926 in Putnam County, TN to the late Harvey Dealer and Eunice Barnes Rockwell.
Mr. Rockwell was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold Rockwell, Oren Rockwell, Fowler Rockwell, Glen Rockwell, Deloy Rockwell.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
