Howard Marcus Garrigus, 69, 1002 Albert, an employee of Howard's Market, Main at Vine, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Born Dec. 29, 1889 in Delphos, he was a son of Walter and Alice (Beard) Garrigus.

His wife, the former LeVada Wallace, survives along with three brothers, Bert of 1238 Hughes, Fred of 119 Flanders Ave., and Claude of Jackson, Mich., and one sister, Gertrude Lewis of Dayton.

Mr. Garrigus was a member of the South Side Church of Christ, and the Loyal Men's Class of the church.

Funeral services will be in the Siferd West Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Friday with Rev. E. J. Penhorwood officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be Paul Wallace, Leo Wallace, Edward Wallace, James Wallace, Ellsworth Hutchinson, Fredrick Hutchinson, William Hutchinson and Alvin Wagstaff.
