Kenneth Clyde "KC" Powell, 83 passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Life Path Hospice, Ruskins, FL.
Born September 13, 1929 in Hickory, NC he was the son of the late, Brice and Nora Sain Powell. Mr. Powell was a member of Miller Lutheran Church and retired from the Air Force as a senior Master Sergeant with 28 years of service, he served in the Korean and Vietnam War. He also retired from Catawba Valley Medical Center.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Patricia Powell; 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Miller's Lutheran Church with the Pastor Jason Sigmon officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
