He was born Feb 1, 1917, in Chicago, the son of the late Gikes and Cecelia Kaminski Mroczkowski. He married Rose Ostapowicz June 1, 1940, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, Chicago. They lived in Chicago until they moved to Powers Lake in 1983.
Mrock worked for more than 43 years as a tool-and-die maker for the ILG Ventilating Co., Chicago, he retired in 1981. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Twin Lakes, and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and his grand- and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; one daughter, Diane Folkers, Arlington Heights, IL; one son, John E. Mrock, Arlington Heights; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrock was preceded in death by three brothers, George, John and Norbert; and one sister, Louise Mrock.
A mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Sept 8, at St. John's Catholic Church, Twin Lakes, with the Rev. Michael Erwin officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery.
