Ludon Barnes, 88, of Loganville, died Friday, April 13, 2012. He was born in Loganville on July 28, 1923, to John Rudolph Barnes and Ada Weathers Barnes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Odelle Harrison Barnes, and grandchildren, Robert Ludon Poynter and Chance Barnes.
Barnes is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Joyce Barnes, of Loganville, and Donna and Lamar Harwell, of Monroe; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Barnes, of Loganville, and Jack and Mariellen Barnes, of Loganville; brothers and sister-in-law, Cecil and Shirley Barnes, of Lilburn, and Billy Barnes, of Oxford; numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
