Died. Mrs. Cora Bee, a daughter of Mr. Itske Vanderflute, died at the home of her father in this place about noon on December 31st, after a long illness with lung disease. Her age was 27 years, 8 months, and 12 days.

Until her death, there were five sisters and two brothers, children of the same mother, also a half-sister, Mrs. Kate Lilly of Des Moines, and a half-brother, Weabie, who is in Oregon. All were present at the funeral excepting the latter. She also left one child, a bright little girl of five years, named Audentia, who will be cared for by the sisters.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ, and her life and character were of excellent repute.

According to her request Elder R. S. Salyards had charge of the services and H. A. Stebbins preached the sermon. Prayer by Elder John Smith. Considering the stormy day there was a large attendance at the saints' chapel. Mr. Vanderflute and sons and daughters have the sympathy of the community in their great sorrow.
