Aaron Jackson Walker, 83, of Palatka died Sunday, September 17, 2000 at the Palatka Health Care Center following an extended illness.
He was a native of Nashville, Georgia. Coming from Nashville, he had lived in Hastings from 1949 until 1961, when he moved to Palatka. He had worked for the former Stanton Motors in Hastings as Service Manager. He had also worked for Shippers Precooling Service in Hastings and the Bulls Hit Ranch in Hastings. His life was his family and his dogs. If it had moving parts, he could take it apart and fix it. He enjoyed fishing.
He was predeceased in death by his wife, Edith Louise Walker and by one grandson, David Eugene Prevatt.
he is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Betty and William E. Bocz of Interlachen, and Margie Prevatt of St. Augustine; one sister, Mildred Davis of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Aaron P. Bocz and Theresa Cromer, both of Pensacola, Gary Prevatt of West Palm Beach, Gail Spindle of St. Augustine and Cindy Stephens of Hastings; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Masters Funeral Home of Palatka. Entombment will follow in the Palatka Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
