Gladys Marion Gardiner Strasburg 1925 ~ 2003 LAYTON - Gladys Marion Gardiner Strasburg, 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2003 at Lakeview Hospital. She was born December 26, 1925 in Salt Lake City the daughter of Arthur Edward and Mary L. Meyerhoff Gardiner. Gladys was reared in Bountiful and lived in Layton all her married life. She graduated from Davis High School. Gladys married Leo Blair Strasburg Sept. 21, 1945. He preceded her in death June 19, 1964. She was a member of the Layton Park West Ward. Gladys retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1988. Surviving are one son, Gail (Jeanne) Strasburg, Layton; two daughters, Doreen (Michael) Brown, Clinton; Gaylene Yancey, Las Cruces, NM; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grand children. Also surviving, one brother, Merlin (Marilyn) Gardiner, one sister, Arlene (Lee) Miller and one special sister-in-law, Becky Gardiner. Preceded in death by her husband, Leo, son, Eldon, and daughter, Maureen. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street. Friends and family may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road.
