Sarah M. Balmoos, 93, of East Stroudsburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, in the home of her son, John W. Balmoos, of Wooddale, Monroe County. She was the wife of the late Henry P. Balmoos.
She worked for many resorts in the Marshalls Creek area.
Born in Wooddale, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Arminda (Counterman) Avery.
Survivors: Sons, John W., Henry P. of Stroudsburg; daughter, Minnie Capone; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Harold.
