Charles Francis Adams
Charles Francis Adams was born August 13, 1873, in the town of Fitchburg where he resided practically his whole life. He was married October 16, 1901 to Blanche Pierce of the town of Verona.
Mr. Adams was a kind and loving husband and father and esteemed by his friends and neighbors – always willing and ready to help others in time of need.
He passed away April 19th after a long illness. He leaves to mourn his loss the widow, one son, Sheldon, Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Kollath, Billings, Montana; two grandchildren, several nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the home on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 2 p.m., Rev. George Beckman of Middleton officiating, and his remains were laid to rest in the Fitchburg cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Palmer, Arthur Vroman, John Schmid, Henry Culp, Maurice Purcell, and J. Kollath
