Mrs. Eleanor Thompson Mooney, 74, of 731 Warren street, died Sunday in her home after a long illness. She was the wife of Walter Wade Mooney, a developer of real estate and builder in Cranford and Westfield and who has been in the coal and lumber business in Cranford for many years.
Born in Cape May, Mrs. Mooney had lived in Westfield 32 years. She was a member of the Plymouth Brethren.
Also surviving are a brother, Richard Thompson of New York; a step-daughter, Mrs. B. Ogden Chrisolm of New York and a step granddaughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Prevost of New York.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the Plymouth Brethren meeting room in Westfield. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
