Paul Douglas Pearce, II, 32, of Lee County, FL, formerly of Port Charlotte, died on Mar. 12, 2013. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Sat., at Royal Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 27200 Jones Loop Rd in Punta Gorda, FL.
Paul was born June 13, 1980 to Paul Douglas and Elizabeth Pearce.
Paul was a very compassionate young man and will be greatly missed. We wish him peace and will remember his laughter in good memory. He loved children, animals and the art of karate as this was where his passion was the most.
He is survived by his father, Paul Douglas Pearce I of Ft. Myers; four sisters, Elizabeth Pearce Gray and her husband Ray of Anderson, SC, Melissa Pearce McDaniel and her husband Paul of Cape Coral, Summer Pearce Halgrim and her husband Erik of Ft. Myers and Kelly Pearce and her son, Christopher Nimmons; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy B. Pearce of Pt. Charlotte; an aunt, Elizabeth Pearce Quinn also of Pt. Charlotte; an uncle, J. Donald Pearce and his wife Carol of Chipley, FL; as well as 10 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Pearce in 2004; his paternal grandfather, Percy P. Pearce; as well as his maternal grandparents, George W. and Carlene M. Hutchens.
