Somerset — Zelma Brown Jones, 98, a resident at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died Tuesday, March 21, 2007, at her residence.
She was born in Somerset Sept. 16, 1907, daughter of the late William Dick Brown and Margaret Ann Keeney Brown. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Somerset.
Survivors include a daughter, Ernestine (and Dock) McCartt, Somerset; a brother, Howard Brown, Chattanooga, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jones, whom she married April 2, 1924, in Winfield, Tenn.; her parents; four brothers, Virgil, Lewis, Arley and Leonard Brown; and two sisters, Catherine Bolin and Elsie Head.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 24, at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. John Roark officiating.
Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday, until time for services.
