Wallace G. Ace, 69, of Henryville, died on Tuesday, November 17, at the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Doris (Scott) Ace and Shirley (Francis) Ace.
He was born in Easton, a son of the late George C. and Irene (Arnt) Ace. He had been a resident of Monroe County for most of his lifetime.
Prior to his retirement in 1994, he was employed by Rock-Tenn Paper Mill in Delaware Water Gap for 26 years.
He is survived by 3 sons, George Ace of East Stroudsburg; Raymond Ace of Harleysville; and Wallace Troy Ace of Henryville; three daughters: Harriet Widdoss of East Stroudsburg; Debbie Szczesniak of Marshalls Creek; and Belinda Keiser of Daytona Beach, Fla.; three step-daughters: Mary Ann Hoffner and Karen Esposito, both of Vineland, N.J.; and Bernadette Chew of New York; a sister, Betty Muffley of Cherry Valley; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, at 8 p.m. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, with Rev. Harry Laubach officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Shoemakers. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 7 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 430, Shawnee-on-Delaware, PA 18356.
