Former Resident Dies At Funeral
Wilbur W. Rush, 71, a former Marysville business man and a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for the past 35 years, died unexpectedly in Vallejo yesterday while attending funeral services for his stepdaughter, the late Ferne Busby.
A native of Stockton, Rush for many years operated the Class A Welding Works on E St. in Marysville. He retired two years ago and had been staying in Vallejo for the past two months while his daughter was ill.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel of Marysville; one brother, George of Oakland; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Kline of Stockton; a stepson, Leslie Nelson of Vallejo; and by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Opal Foundation of Vallejo.
Funeral services are scheduled Friday at 11 a.m. at Hitchison's Colonial Chapel in Marysville with Rev. R. H. Cantrell of the Bible Church of Vallejo officiating. Interment will be in Sierra View Memorial Park.
