Born in Boynton Beach, Fla. he was a son of Bobby and Connie Johns of Hendersonville. He had been employed by Honeybaked Ham and Hubert's Restaurant and was of the Baptist faith. He was a talented musician and vocalist with a passion for Rock-n-Roll. A collector of vinyl records and audiophile he was loved by family and many friends. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a sister Lorrie Jane Renaud Akrs.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner in life, Joey Tutterrow; sisters Bobbie Hendricks and husband John and Kathy Banks and husband Billy; brothers Steven Gove and wife Lisa and Randy Johns and Terry Johns; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm Thursday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
